Servolab

The Servo Lab unit offers state-of-the-art technology in the maintenance of servo motors and multi brand spindles.

In addition to professionals with experience in the area of industrial maintenance, this unit has a large and sophisticated laboratory for repairs and tests, with full support of Leme Motores engineering department for the completion of planned (preventive) and corrective maintenance.

In order to extend the useful life and reliability of the servo motors and spindles, the Servo Lab unit adopts procedures to repair and diagnoses within the specifications of each manufacturer. As a result, it is possible to determine, through a rigorous analysis, the conditions of each equipment, to carry out intervention actions more directed and, consequently, more effective.

Services performed by Servo Lab:

    • - Analysis, record and report of failures;
    • - Mechanical measurements;
    • - Plating, machining and balancing;
    • - Blasting;
    • - Inspection and repair of rotor magnetic circuit;
    • - Replacement of the bearings with inductive heater;
    • - Encoder electronic adjustment (incremental and absolute)/ resolver;
    • -Simulations in dedicated giga, using specific software and cables from each manufacturer (brand/model);
    • - Painting as customer’s request.

Servo Motors and spindle recoil

The following procedures are performed:

  • - Equipment disassembling, cleaning and drying;
  • - Coating of stator grooves with insulating material
  • - Preparation of new coils in electronic bench, whose accuracy eliminates the occurrence of error on the spiral count.
  • - Stator recoil;
  • - Impregnation with varnish;
  • - Polymerisation (varnish cure) in a greenhouse with time and temperature electronic control;
  • - Insulation parameters tests.
